We are here to help! Here are some frequently asked questions from our brides. 

HOW MUCH SHOPPING SHOULD I BE DOING?
If you find the shop that fits your vibe, don't worry about making multiple additional appointments. We've learned that sometimes going to too many shops can overwhelm you instead of help you. At Marcella's Bridal, we've worked hard to carefully curate the best range of bridal style, so you can leave knowing you shopped a variety of options! 

WHEN SHOULD I START SHOPPING FOR MY DRESS?
We recommend starting the process as soon as you are ready to purchase your dream dress! Special ordered gowns typically take 6-9 months to arrive (and then alterations typically take 8-10 weeks). However, we do have a large selection of dresses that can be purchased off the rack for those who have a shorter deadline. We can take care of a bride who is getting married tomorrow, three months from now, or in two years.

SHOULD I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AHEAD OF TIME?
Yes! Booking an appointment ahead of time is the only way to guarantee we have a bridal consultant available to take care of you. We offer different experiences that all include help of a stylist, so when we are fully booked, we do not take walk-ins. Schedule your experience now to become a part of our Marcella's Bridal Family! WHAT WILL MY APPOINTMENT BE LIKE?
All Bridal Experiences will include a personal bridal consultant to guide you through the exciting process of finding your dream wedding gown. Your consultant will take a few minutes to get to know the feel you are going for, your style, and any inspiration photos you would like them to see. Then while you sit and relax, they will pull dresses that fit your vibe. (Don't sweat it if you don't have a clue what will look good on you, we can start from scratch and work our way up. It's what we do best!) After the gowns are pulled, the real fun begins as you begin to put on different styles and learn what you love and what you can live without, while sipping on our Marcella's Signature Mimosa. The next part of your appointment will depend on what type of bridal experience you have scheduled. (Visit our Book Appointment page to see the details within each bridal experience to find one that fits your excitement!) It is important to note that most brides find their gown at the first appointment with us, so be prepared to get all the feels and say yes!

WHO SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT WITH ME?
Bring a few people whose opinions you value most. If you do choose to bring a large group make sure you bring the people who are going to give you supportive feedback and understand what your style is. Getting a lot of opinions can be overwhelming for anyone! For this reason, we now offer reveal appointments, so you can bring up to 6 guests later to reveal your gown, have a toast, and celebrate you!

HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO SPEND ON A DRESS AT MARCELLA'S?
At Marcella's Bridal, our wedding gown prices range from $1,500 to $4,200.
 
WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT GOWN SIZING? WILL YOU HAVE MY SIZE AVAILABLE?
We carry gowns from sizes 4-28 with a reasonable selection in most sizes. If the gown fits a little too big or a little too small, don't worry! We'll help you envision how the dress will look on you. Bridal sizing can be confusing as it runs smaller than our traditional U.S. sizes, so your consultant will help you find the perfect fit. Our consultants are experienced and easy going, we are always honored to have the opportunity to help make you feel beautiful and confident!

DO YOU OFFER ALTERATIONS?

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PURCHASE MY WEDDING DRESS AT MARCELLA'S BRIDAL?
We accept debit cards, credit cards, cash, or check. However, we encourage brides to purchase their dress with cash or check due to the 3.5% processing fee applied to debit and credit card transactions.

DO I TIP MY BRIDAL CONSULTANT?
Tips are always appreciated!! At our store we go the extra mile to make your wedding gown experience above & beyond your expectations. If you feel we succeeded in this, leaving a tip is an amazing way to show your appreciation to your consultant.
 
DO YOU CARRY BRIDESMAIDS OR MOTHER OF THE BRIDE GOWNS?
We focus exclusively on our bride's by carrying wedding gowns, custom wedding gowns & redesigning heirloom wedding gowns.

WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?
A trunk show is a special buying event where a designer sends gowns not typically carried in our store so you can view & purchase from the upcoming collection before they are available in stores. Be prepared to buy your gown at that day as they will only be in store for a limited time!
