A little "Something Blue" to look forward to in 2026!

As 2025 has drawn to a close and we look forward to 2026's wedding season, we are noticing one very exciting trend for 2026 come to life: gowns with color. Typically when one might hear that phrase they likely think of two "extremes": blush or all black. While these two options are part of the trend, we are also seeing a few other colors come to the spotlight!

The first, more subtle trend we have seen is a mixture of black with an ivory or cream. The layering of dark color over a light base really allows the texture of the black lace or fabric to shine through. This is a great option for our brides who want to go unconventional with their color choice, but still want a little bit of the traditional bridal ivory.

Another up and coming color trend, a personal favorite, that we are looking forward to seeing more of is blue! While this trend started as subtle pops of blue in bridal shoes or other accessories, it is starting to show more on gowns themselves. We are even starting to see solid blue gowns altogether. Having a little "something blue" is a great option to consider this wedding season!

While trends have moved away from pure white for some time, we look forward to what other colors will show up in wedding trends to come!
